Cancellation Policy

Hotel Booking Cancellation policy:

 Free of charge until 24 Hours before arrival depending on the hotel you select to book and cancellation policy stated at the time of booking.

Payments: The final Price shown in your confirmation letter is what you are to pay either through Cedi Travels or to the hotel directly. Cedi Travels does not Charge Guest any reservation, administration, or other fees.

Credit Card Payment: Some hotels demands upfront payment, as such your card may be charge instantly or pre authorized, and you complete final payment at the property upon check inn. This Cedi Travels do not have control about it. 

Cedi Travels uses secured third-party payment platform and does not have access to your card details, as such before any payment can be transacted on your card, you would be alerted to approve it before transaction would be completed due to the security measures been provided by the payment company. 

Currency or Exchange Rate: Guest are required to pay the hotel in USD or according to the exchange rate of the property on the day of payment in the local currency here refer to as (Ghana Cedis). Should you want to pay in any other acceptable currency, the prevailing rate would be applied.

Check Inns: Rooms will be available for check in at 3:00 p.m. on the day of arrival. Check out time is 12:00 a.m. Early check in and late check-out will be subject to availability and charges will apply.


Take note of additional supplement (eg. Extra bed) are not added to your totals shown on your booking, unless otherwise selected or requested. The hotel may charge you for such additional request.

At check-in, you must present a valid photo ID for your check inn. For bookings paid with a credit card, you may require to present the card used to make the payment and or your proof of payment. For bank transfer, kindly ensure to show proof of payment made weeks ahead your arrival.

Failure to do so may result in the hotel requesting additional payment or your reservation not being honored.

All rooms are guaranteed on the day of arrival. In the case of a no-show, your room(s) will be released and you will be subject to the terms and conditions of the Cancellation/No-Show Policy specified at the time you made the booking as well as noted in the Confirmation Email.

The total price for this booking does not include mini-bar items, (in some hotels) telephone usage, laundry service, etc. The property will bill you directly.

In cases where Breakfast is included with the room rate, please note that certain properties may charge extra for children travelling with their parents. If applicable, the property will bill you directly. Upon arrival, if you have any questions, please verify with the property.

For Tour Packages 

A departure date for a Tour offered by Cedi Travels and Hospitality will become a guaranteed departure when at least one booking secured by a valid deposit has been made on that departure.

Cedi Travels guarantees that all scheduled Tour departures booked and secured with a valid deposit will depart as indicated on the applicable confirmation, subject to reasonable itinerary changes as described in these Terms or good faith health and safety concerns. An up to date Tour and itinerary information would be published in all our available Cedi Travels Platforms..

Cancellation caused by Natural Disaster 

If a Tour is cancelled by the Cedi Travels before the date of departure and the cancellation is not caused by your fault or negligence, but for a natural disaster, unforeseen banned or anything beyond our control, you will have the choice of accepting from Cedi Travels:

(a) a substitute Tour of equivalent or superior value; or

(b) a substitute Tour of lesser value if no Tour of equivalent or superior value is reasonably available and to recover from Jewel Travel &  Tour the difference in price between the price of the Tour originally purchased and the substitute Tour; or

(c) a full refund of all monies paid for the cancelled Tour.

Cedi Travels is not responsible for any incidental expenses or consequential losses that you incur as a result of the cancelled booking including visas, vaccinations, non-refundable flights or rail, non -refundable car parking or other fees, loss of earnings, or loss of enjoyment.

Cedi Travels reserves the right to issue a full refund in lieu of the choices above, in its sole discretion. Where a significant element of a Tour as described cannot be provided after departure, Cedi Travels will make suitable alternative arrangements where possible. If it is not possible to provide a suitable alternative or if you reasonably reject any suitable alternatives, Cedi Travels may provide you with a refund for unused products or services as determined in its discretion.

Car Rental Services:

When you rent or pre booked your private transport with Cedi Travels, you would deal with the service provider directly.

You are required to pay directly to Cedi Travels before arrival of Rented car or cars.

Ensure to assemble your group at the agreed meeting point where the driver can locate you and start the service.

Flight details are required, 72 hours before arrival with a least of 24 hour notification should there be any changes with your travel plans or cancellation.

Cancellation of Booking: should you cancel your rental booking prior 24 hour to your arrival, the terms and condition of the car owner providing the service would be applicable at the point of booking. Cases where full refund or part refund or no refund is applicable, we would ensure it is enforced. We would also pride your interest first in all the dealings.
